Hmm...minimal rigging. May be interested in that one. Still no Dr.1 on the horizon? what's up with that?

See they have a Fokker D.VII coming up, again, minimal rigging so count me in! :geek

1/32 scale makes rigging easier. I notice that a lot of aircraft rigging is NOT round. I think dental floss might be ideal for flat rigging.

I read, many years ago, that the airfoil between the wheel struts on the Fokker D-VII was also a fuel tank. Can anyone confirm that?

Seeing what Anthony Fokker was able to aceive once he was allowed to use an in-line engine, it's a great thing for Allied pilots that he had to wait until so late in the war to be allowed that. I hope to get one of these D-VII kits.

Cheers

Peter I did the Sopwith Pup a couple of years ago. Rigging wasn't so bad, I complain about it just because I'm a cynic, the time invested is well worth the effort but dang, I got so little time now...

There's an old sea shanty with the lines, "...friggin in the rigging 'cuz there's nothing else to do." I guess for aircraft and tall ships modellers the line can be changed to, "I'm friggin with the rigging 'cuz it's all I got left to do."

Cheers

Well, that's an interesting thought :hmmm Providing you have a way to tighten it .

I'll have to experiment with that thought .
