Hello all. Name is Harvey (dirtball). Many of you know me from a couple of other sites. Moon Pup gave me an invite, so I thought I`d check it out. I build 1/32 military aircraft. Thats it, nothing else. Got back a couple of years ago after a 20= yrs absence from the hobby. I finally finished my first build late last year. It was a Trump F-105D. I had it on Swanny`s site in Century builds. Came out pretty good. I`m now working on a Trump 1/32 P-38Lo5 converted to a P-38M night fighter. I`ll post later after m I feel around on the site and get a hang of it. Hope to chat and share with you all. I know a few of you here.............Harv :blink

G'day Harvey :) ,

Welcome to Tanks and Things ;) .

Well I can see we are going to have to "convert" you to the very similar scale of 1/35th , Hmmmmmm  they make lots of kewl tanks and things in that scale too ;) . subliminal message "succumb to gravity"

I am looking forward to seeing your builds .

Jenny

Thanks for the welcome Jenny! I dought you can ever convert me, but you can try!I love aircraft, all the wingy things. Hope to get to know all of you better........Harv ;)

you could not have picked a cooler place to share the hobby :) welcome

Hey there Dirtball
You'd better gain some altitude. Jenny may have her flak battery on full alert.

I can't believe you didn't post a picture of that monster! Come on' Harv!

Harv is the guy responsible for my current Wildcat obsession. I bought a -4 with all the goodies from him last year, so of course I have to show off all those goodies with open panels.

come on Harv, get with the program, pictures damnit!!!

Welcome to the best site ever. Look forward to your builds. I have a 105 stalled somewhere in the stash, one day it will come out again.

Hey Harv,

Big scale aircraft modeler! OK, 1/24th scale is bigger. ;)

I hope to see some of your work. One can really detail these large aircraft.

I don't have many other than Trumpeter's Mi-24 (yes, 1/35th scale), Dragon's F-6 Photo Mustang, Hasegawa Bf-109G-2, G-6, G-14, F-5E TigerII, Me-262B-1, Me-163, and AA Models FT-17 (a truly stinky PoS: Piece of Styrene). I will build the first six for sure as I found shark mouth markings for them but I don't think I have room for the rest, perhaps the ceiling?
:silly:

Regards,

{off topic warning, Harv is use to it from me}
Saul, that Dragon F-6 is the same as the P51 kit I have with the articulated landing struts. Have you assembled them yet, and do they actually work?

Hey gang, thanks for the warm fuzzy welcome! Much appreciated! I promise to post some picks this evening. I just got off work (grave yard) and I`m going beddy by, of course after my 1 beer! I`ll see you around..............Harv :silly:

Moon Puppy, indeed the lower wing and landing gear are the same. Since I need to convert it back to the P-51D (Dragon improved the molds and details on this release over the P-51D) I have yet to build it.

What have you heard?

Regards,

You saying the F6 is the newer and better release? RATS! Foiled again!

I have not heard anything, I haven't even started research on the kit yet because I've been kinda preoccupied trying to mate a Vector engine on a Wildcat.

But hey, Welcome Aboard HARV! :mpup

Hi Harvey.

Welcome to T&T. It's a great place to hang out, especially since we need some more wingy thingy guys around here.

Welcome aboard Harvey, "Dirtball" huh? watch out around here, it might get changed to "Fireball" with all the flak that will be thrown up at you. :eek:hmy:

I have a couple of 32nd scale aircraft, but they are mostly reserved for crashed planes. :blink I've got a few odd ball things in the works also. Yup I'm the guy that does stuff out of the box, "Way out" most of the time.

So, Looks like we have beat you up enough about posting some pictures, So Where are they??? :idonno

Looking forward to seeing what you have done and what you will be working on...

I dabble a little in 32nd scale Helo's too, most of them are not crashed, but I have done some that way too. Long story.

Again, Welcome aboard.
Shawn

Welcome aboard TnT Harvey,

Michael
