This one called to me as soon as I saw it. I wonder if Last Cavelry can get it for me. Will have to ask.

The painting is by Степанов Клавдий Петрович (Stepanov Claudius Petrovich) [1894-1910] and is based on the saying Седина в бороду, а бес в ребро (which is also translated as No Fool like an Old Fool and A Streak of Gray brings an Old Boy to his Spring Day).

I like it, I can see a lot of grey haired heads nodding at it at shows...

Cool, thanks Saul. This one really speaks to me and I think putting it in a shadow box, maybe with velvet backing would be very very cool.
