My next two builds are...

I decided against building anymore Japanese aircraft models right now, instead a couple other older kits that have been in my stash for a while will be built first. One is the Special Hobby kit of the three seat Me 262 nightfighter, the other is the Revell 'Heavy Armor' Me 262 Zerstorer.

I have started work on the Special Hobby kit first because it will take much longer to assemble than the Revell kit, so far I have close to two hours time put into the Special Hobby kit with much time sanding the parts to get them prepped for gluing together...some of these parts are VERY thick and do need to be thinned a bit to avoid thick trailing edges.
The Revell kit will be started soon, I want to have both models cockpits ready for paint at about the same time so I only have to spray the RLM 66 black gray once.

Thanks guys!

A week from now I should have another in progress pic or two, I am finishing the Japanese planes I started a few weeks ago and won't be spending too much time on the Me 262s in the next couple days.

Cool! I like that Special Hobby kit. Well not the kit itself, I have no idea. The plane looks cool though.

Thanks again guys!

The Special Hobby kit is a bit rough, not sure if I can make decent looking model from it, but at least the Revell kit should end up looking nice plus I have a unique camo pattern for it.

I have been painting the cockpits and getting ready to close up the fuselage halves, pics might be posted later if the power is not knocked out again. There has been some wild weather here the past two days and I quickly found it most difficult to build models without heat or lighting. ;)

In between power outages I have been painting the cockpits of the Me 262s, here is what they look like before the fuselage halves are joined.

Thanks Warren!

It has been a while since I posted any in-progress pics of these builds, some of this is not my fault as I had to take my computer to the shop so it could be mended.

Much of the painting is done with only the Nightfighter needing some other details painted on before both models can get their coat of Future. The models camouflage patterns were airbrushed free handed with my Iwata Revolution BR and Model Master enamel paints.

Really like them both, Les. But the 'tiger stripes' are just superb - showing some superb airbrush control there friend.
