Marder III

I have been working on this Marder for awhile now and was looking for some advice. I have never finished a model in German Gray before and was looking for some comments or suggestions that would help improve it. Thanks in advance. Rusty

The build looks very well done, but the background is a little contrasty to see much. White or blue would help bring the attention back to the model. Here's a link to a great lesson on grey http://tanksandthings.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=53&func=view&catid=59&id=1166 Can't wait to see more of your build! (y)

looking good!

what i can't tell is if you did a pinwash! if not try a pinwash with black and brown and maybe you add a blue filter to the larger panels ...

Thanks guys for the comments. Mike you are right about the background it didn't help the pics at all. I will try to get some more pics when it is further along with a different color background. Kreighshoer, thanks I did a pin wash early on but alot of the effect was lost during the weathering process. I will do another pin was and try to bring out some of the details. I have got to get busy on it I want to have it done to take to a local show in less than two weeks, and I still have 2 crew figures to do.

The Marder looks great as does the ground work. I really like the structure too. You did a superb job on it (y)
