Looking good General Zod!

I have always liked that tank myself! I wanted to put it in my big one, but there were none in the fourth armored division in April 1945. :( :( :(

Thank you Bob.:notworthy Maybe do a what if build? Say the M26 came ashore on D-Day?

Nice work Zod. I like it alot!
There is a rumor that one of these is sitting down the road from me. I'll have to check into it.

Sorry Zod, the reason I called it as a rumor was I was told it was a M26 and then a Chaffee but today I found out it is neither. It's actually a M47 Patton. Housed at a small Museum here in Fort Olgelthorpe GA.

Btw Chad, how often do you run through Chattanooga? I pass or get passed by a few Crete trucks a day traveling I-24 from Manchester TN. to Chatt town. Whats your unit number? that way ifin I see ya I can blow the horn at least.

Very cool build, General Zod! It's always the same: it's amazing what you guys can do in such a small scale! :eek:hmy:

A question here: is the blue stuff on the wheels masking tape? If so, could you forward it's make and what it is called commercially?

As the others, I'm sittin' heah waitin' faw sum paint to hit that darn M26 of yaw's... :)

Cheers and thanks for sharing! B)

The "blue" on the road wheels is actually a faded black for the rubber portions. I mixed in some Polly S light gray with Polly S grimy black. I guess they do look a bit blue.

Thanks for the kind words.I did paint it with Tamiya OD,lightened with some buff. I got the decals on her today.I hope to post pix tomorrow.

Sorry for the confusion, General

: guess it's the different hues on each computer screen... It's just that I've been trying to find a way to paint those rubber "wheel covers" on my Tiger I and thought you'd found a good masking tape for that purpose. I'll probably paint the rubber part with the templates I bought from l'Arsenal (a nice tip from Sharkmouth). ;)

Cheers and... when does the painting start?!? :woohoo:
