M2 .50 Cal Ammo Markings

Stumbled across this diagram while surfing. Should be useful for super detailing ammo belts, especially in large scales.

Wouldn't you hate to be the one who made the dummy rounds...

Just an FYI, I know these codes were not consistant with other calibers. I recall the dummy 30mm round for the GAU8 had a blue tip on it. But that was 30 years ago now, my mind may be playing tricks on me.

Especially as the white dots on the dummy round are actually holes drilled thru the casing.
