LRDG Chevy 1/35

Thanks gents (y)

Still looking good. I just can't get used to pink.

(y)

Well, T, d'ya know this is exactly what many Kiwis used to say riding the pinkies ?? I think the pink will tone down a little bit with the weathering going on, cos loads of sand are gonna come and fade it down :soldier

A little thought for them New Zealanders tonite, I just saw on TV they have tons of snow !!!!

Regards,

Richard

I read somewhere that pink is the best color to use to fight fading and having to repaint. Not sure why.

Snow in NZ? Well just hunkerdown and wait for it to melt. With the heat wave we've been having, I'm looking forward to a snow day.

Hi,

Just one pic to show you the building rendering so far.

It received some polyfilla coating, and when this started to dry, I textured it with an old toothbrush. It looks like some heavily raised roughcast, but this will be tamed by heavy sanding once dried.

Hi,

Here I come with fresh news from my Lybian diorama. The figs are painted, washes are on, cargo's in... Some little things are to be adjusted + pigments and it'll be Ok.

I gotta get back and do some detail painting on the 1/72 scale LRDG Chevy I got in my built shelf. You've just shown me what I need to do to dress that buggar up. Thanks for the inspiration. Nice job on the finished product.

Really great! Love the photography and the work here. One thing that jumps out at me, the tires, shouldn't they be dusted up? They look like they are wet in a couple of shots. I think the chipping and fading are spot on, just dust that puppy up some. (y)

Looks great,Richard! (y)

With the wallpapers it got that feel of war movies of the 1960's.

Greetings,Ron.
