This is the "Beatles Cartoon" figure set from Mcfarlane Toys, 2004 Apple Corps. Ltd.
Rest In peace John.

I liked George better, don't know why. And Ringo...married to Barbara Bach for all these years, well just saying.
 
And can remember the night I head the news.
Working swing shift at a welding/fabrication shop in Houston, Texas.
I was walking past the automated torch cutter operator and he called me over.
"They shot John Lennon", "John Lennon is shot" and I responded "WHAT!"
We both then hovered around his little transistor radio and heard the news flashes.
It was like the world stopped for a couple of minutes.

I'll never forget hearing Howard Cosell report John's murder during Monday Night Football. The world stood still.
Ironically, I purchased Paul's remastered "Band on the Run" today. It sounds awesome. This year's Christmas present to myself is the Beatles' mono boxed set.

I too can remember hearing of it. Albeit I was only 9 years old but still hearing that he was Gunned down. I still have the People Magazine from that date of Their remembrance of John !
