Hey all!

Here are my two latest ACE guns in 1/72 scale. Both of these were built OOB and hand painted.

First the German PAK 43 88mm towed anti-tank gun:

Next is the German PAK 43 Neuntoffer; which is essentially the same gun mounted on a cross-base for a 360-degree arc of fire:

That's all for now. I have a few more models to try and finish, hopefully I'll have more to show you soon.

Thanks all for looking in, comments are welcome.

Didn't know these 88mm anti-tank guns are also done in 1:72 scale.
Always good to see the 88 in modelform no matter what scale it is in. (y)

You got some more guns in 1:72 scale,Mark?

Greetings,Ron.

I hope you like them Ron!

Thanks for sharing these,Mark! (y)

Wasn't aware you could get that much 'arti' in 1:72 scale.
The German IG 18 is my favorit in this line up. (y)

Soldier on,Mark. :soldier

Greetings,Ron.

Well Dang Mark, you could have pulled one of these for the Guns campaign. (y)

I would have but they had all been started when that was still being considered. I do have to get my pics taken for the Morser Karl so I can start the Guns campaign.

Always like seeing a bunch of builds together Mark :drinks

I am glad youre joining our Guns GB mate

You have certainly been busy since our last comments. Nice job on all those artillery pieces. Were you able to make it for the IPMS nats or not? I am thinking of saving some $$$ for the 2014 Nats in Va. I may actually be able to get to go to one, as it runs pretty close to my Birthday, so I am going to try. I may even try to bring an entry for the show (Although I doubt I'll get anything for my efforts. I will still be able to meet some people that I know online.

Thanks Dave! Yeah, I've gotten quite a bit done, even on Dora, and I'm almost finished with my Russian Armored Train as well.

No, I was never able to raise enough funds to go to Orlando, and I feel that the Virginia Nats will also be way out of range. I'm saving up for Colorado though, and things are looking good for that one so far. I was pretty upset that they put the 50th anniversary celebration for IPMS USA on one coast. I think it should have been put in the center of the country so more people would have the chance to go without traveling so far. I guess they just feel there aren't enough modelers on the West Coast to justify that.

As for bringing an entry, I say go for it! I never expect anything of mine to win either as I'm a tee-ball league player on a Big League Field. In fact, the truck that took second in Phoenix was one that I almost didn't bring because I didn't like the look of the weathering! You never know Dave; get the basics right, and make it look good and you'll never know what happens. And even if you don't place; like you said, you get to meet people face to face that you'll never see otherwise. I do hope to see you at a Nats someday.
