I have been picking away at this at the dining room table for a bit, slowly getting close to paint. Not sure what then. Maybe see if James would paint it for me or try again myself.

James paint is easy brother . once upon a time I taught airbrush classes. If you need help. Ask . pm whatever you are comfortable with. Remember base color top.I believe in you . you do good builds you can paint that .

Seeing the old Chieftain brings back memories of BAOR, I'm sure your Iranian version will impress, good luck :good:

Actually airbrushing is not easy. Not when after a couple of minutes your arm goes numb, you cant feel your fingers and lose control of the finger control. Then the pins and needles and you dont know if you are actually holding the airbrush or if it is slipping from your grasp. Then the shoulder tightens real good and a headache starts. Its damned difficult. Cutting and glueing though I can do five minutes here and there now that I have moved up to my dining room table. Thanks for the offer though.

James I'm sorry to hear that brother. Well from the sounds of it you are the dedicated modeler that we should all aspire to be. You do beautiful work. You are truly a trooper and a hell of a modeler. Carry on my friend.

Not sure i'm that much of a modeler but thanks for the confidence buoost :D
The kit is pretty good. I should take a picture of the road wheels. The have the double rim like real. Some parts are clunky but work okay. Some attachment points suck but you cant have everything. Over all I like. I gave the Mk 11 to my buddy Larry who does Brit stuff and he seemed impressed. Lots of schemes to do also. Cant wait to see some one do the Berlin Brigade markings that are in this kit.

Nice work James.

I know the feeling of the numbness and pins and needles. I had carpal tunnel surgery in my right hand several years ago. I almost gave up modeling and was limited to what I could do at work when it came time to use the x-acto knife and draw artwork.

Have you looked into using a pistol grip airbrush? I started using one before I had my surgery and never looked back. Much less fatigue on the fingers and hand.

I've never tried the pistol grip. Not sure what kind of control I would have. I'm not sure I want to experiment either if my modeling is decreasing.

Did some more and its primed now. Pics tomorrow of the painting.
