Information Overload and When the Well Dries Up

Some of the submarines that Ian ( @Brokeneagle ) likes to build have severe "canning" to the front bow sides. Even ships like the Missouri, and the newer aircraft carriers have areas where the bulkheads don't give but the hull between the bulkheads caves ever so slightly.
I was thinking the same Paul. I have thought about adding this effect but with so many to build I will probably only attempt it on one.
 
On Concord's final flight the crew placed their hats in gaps between bulkheads and instrument panel that appeared at high altitude with outside temp, pressure compared with inside.


When the aircraft landed for the final time their hats were sandwiched in the gaps for prosperity and for ever more.
Concords high attitude length was up too 1ft / 300mm longer than its parked length..

I think the same was the cause of SR71 fuel leaks on the tarmac
Aluminium will expand and contract at more than most metals for a given heat.
 
We had a Dakota at our unit that was a few inches longer than specification due to stretching. During WW2 it operated in the China-Burma-India Theatre where they did alot of glider work to move troops, equipment and cargo.
