That would be EPICThere's only one that I would want to do that to but it's OOP, I know someone who has it but I haven't been able to get them to respond to emails. That Brass Halftrack.
Actually thats just a bonus with a great model. You just want to see me burn my fingers again. :frantic
I dont think most of us have any proof other than fond memories of older build so I would say no to proof If it can be given it would be awesome though And what you propose is exactly in the spirit of what I want this campaign to be.I like it. Do you need to have some proof of the old kit build? Could I do something like a Eduard FW190d-9 that I have started twice and wrecked halfway through and are now paint hogs?
Somehow I bet it looked better than my 3 color plastic one looked like - post a picture mate.LOL![]()
I actually have a Momogram Dornier17 still that I built as a kid. Only thing missing from it is a couple of the small machine guns. Propellors and landing gear are still intact. How do I know for sure it was built that long ago? The gloss black paint for the RLM70 blackgreen.
At this point I wold probably build the new Airfix Do17 in 1/72. Then could take a photo with then and now.![]()
