Huntsville or Bust

Okay, my fellow glue sniffers, it is time to start planning of IPMS 2027. Do we drive or fly? Who is going to enter and what marvelous thing will they make? Where are we going to stay? What bank do we have to rob to pay for al this? Will we volunteer?

At this point I am planning on Chattanooga in April and Huntsville in July. What will I take? Probably my big 1/16th scale stuff if I can manage to finish any of it.

Well you know Huntsville is only a 5 hour drive for me. But who decided on Alabama in the middle of July! Guess it wouldn't be any hotter than it is here.
What about the rest of you locals?
No worse that Texas in July/August!! I know that Huntsville does get super hot (avg. in the 90's) in the summer. I went to school in Troy, AL and attended several Safety classes at Ft Rucker, near Dothan, AL. The day I left it was 113° and 90% humidity.
