"House to House" May 1968 Vignette COMPLETED!

Thanks, Mike.

Although it was very fun to build, I am glad that it is done so I can get some more projects worked on.

Cheers,
James

Thanks, Guys!

Well, I finally got the vignette completed last night and this morning I took a bunch of pictures. I think the vignette turned out pretty good. I hope the guys who are depicted in it like it when they see it in April at the 47th Infantry Regiment's Reunion at Fort Benning, GA.

I won't bore everyone with the rest of the in-progress photos of the last figure as he is well-photographed in these pictures of the completed project.

I changed the title of the vignette to "House to House" and the location is now District 8 of Saigon in May 1968 during an offensive that the bad guys started.

Some things to note on the shooting figure are the 9th Infantry Division patch on his left shoulder, torn and faded helmet cover, and shell casing being ejected from the M16.

Thanks, Ski!

Glad you like it. Even though it took longer than I had originally planned, I like how it turned out. My favorite figure in the scene is the guy shooting - imagine that. :)

After looking at the pictures some more, I am motivated to get started on my next project.

Cheers,
James
