The weather network Just an update on things, 4 Semi's got blown off the road just north of Nanton, the good news is the a Highway 9(name of the company) driver kept his upright and got it faced into the wind (y) , the rest weren't quit so lucky. I got sandblasted and almost blown off the back of my shunt truck, and watched a couple of power lines touch, short out, drop and start a grass fire at the plant. Kuddo's to the Highriver fire deptartment as they arrived and got it out before it got out of hand. All in all sunday was not a pleasant day for a few folk who are now scrambling to find shingles etc. And there is a section of a condo block in Highriver being held up by a couple of backhoes, that's been evacuated. I was fortunate that the only damge we suffered was a small section of fence blew over...............and the weather for cast is
 
Wicked weather! Having to turn the semi into the wind?

I remember at Grand Forks the wind picked up so bad that it turned a KC135 that was parked. Yeah those chocks didn't do too good in that situation.
