I bought these at a fabulous Squadron sale for only $6USD each a few years ago. They were intended to hang in my son's room.
Easy assembly for sure but the wing trailing edge was short shot. The decals were useless and substituted with F-51D decals from Academy.

Wiping putty off with alcohol moistened cotton bud...
More puttying...
Sanding with mesh from Gunze Sangyo...
Ready for paint and decals...
Front doesn't look too bad...
Not much of an interior...
Too bad the kid destroyed it by feeding it to the dog (who thought it was a chew toy... was it the cat's mouth markings?).
In the end, you get what you pay for.
