Henschel Type 33D1

Well another week has pasted and I have managed to get a little more done on the truck. This weeks photo is of the cargo box which is pretty much complete and just needs to be attached to the frame.

Lots of little parts, the fit is not to bad but Revell could have done a better job on the alinement pins and holes, on some pieces they are very tiny and it is difficult to know if everything is alined properly.

James, Revell reboxed ICM's kit. The blame falls on the Ukrainian company.

Oh, those Ukrianians :)

Thanks

I picked up a Revell Admiral Cabriolet staff car last week, I noticed ICM also has released the same car, probably as you pointed out Revell reboxed ICM kit as well, interesting. :D

I've been off for the last couple of days so I managed to get more than normal building done this week. I have done more work on the chasis since I took the photo yesterday and right now the glue is drying so I dare not move it. The first picture is pretty much all of the main components together for the first time, wow I didn't think it would be this big. The second photo is probably one of the few photo's left where the engine is visible as I am doing the build with the bonnet closed, hence no additonal after-market or scratch building.

James :)

Thank you everyone,

It is hard to believe that it has been over a month since my last post. The truck was coming together nicely then I hit a snaq with all the little parts breaking as soon as you look at it, so I put the kit asside for awhile to work on other kits. I have glued on the bonnet but had to remove several parts of the engine to make the fit and I just finished up the cab. Still a long ways to go but I still really enjoy the kit and look of it, therefore it will get done. :fencing
