This is a AFV Club M-40 fresh off the UPS truck today. NO damage to the box and all other parts are perfect.

Why me Lord
Tony lee :hmmm

They are calling for 106 tomorrow.

Wonder of the trick Saul talked about correcting resin would work on this? Boil water, remove from hit and drop the part in. (I think that's what it was.)

I bought it from Free Time Hobbies Saul. I e-mailed them this afternoon along with the pictures and ask for a replacement hull.
Being a 2006 kit I have mt doubts but you never know.

Possible 108 degrees here tomorrow is being called for. Another couple of days 100 plus will make it the hottest summer in 50 years around these parts. :(

If Freetimes says they can't do anything , have them contact the US distributor as they can.

to answer your question as if I ever saw one so bad, this is a Hasegawa 1/32nd scale kit I bought several years ago and was promptly replaced by Dragon Models USA (the Hasegawa distributor back then):

Howdy Everybody
I was going to get a start on that 5t Diana this morning but I couldn't get my mind off of the M-40 so I sat the Diana to one side and put the M-40 hull on the bench.
I studied the warps from all angles and it was best to start with the least and progress back to the worst working the plastic into shape as I went.

I boiled a large pan of water, broke out my heat gun and while the water came to a boil cleaned up the body parts that I would need to hold the hull in the correct shape as I progressed because the AFV Club plastic has a healthy memory and wants to return to its last know position.

After numerous dips in the hot water, clamps, rubber bands, machine blocks and a blast from the heat gun now and then I broke her will to resist.
It ain't perfect but should score at least an "8". :hmmm
