Things like the Commonwealth and Soviet air forces didn't use the US name "Warhawk". Early P-40's, up to the P-40C, were named "Tomahawk". P-40D's on were named "Kittyhawk".

I knew this one Rich, I was wanting more info about found in the desert.
 
Indeed, the manual calls it a Kittyhawk IA (not even Mk. IA). This example was found in the desert and reclaimed for restoration:
