I miss my buddy. Harley had just turned 12. He came to me as a stray puppy. Was under the car changing oil in the driveway the February after my wife had passed and he walked up between my legs. I looked down and here was his cute puppy face. He was my best friend from then on. Never barked or growled at anyone. Always wanted to say "Hi!" and then would lean against them.

Probably won't have another. Just don't haave the time to spend on one.

The shelter told us she didn't like men, but she follows me around everywhere I go and gets depressed and completely shuts down when I have to travel for work. go figure! Wouldn't trade her for the world!

Being a widower and before that divorced, it's my job to remind some of you yeahoos to appreciate your ladies.

That doesn't mean there aren't days of and :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm or :huh: and they make you a little :gogo .

I don't date anymore as the singles are too messed up. They don't take care of themselves, look like a barrel or beach ball on stilts, are looking for a big $ score or worse. I have come to like quiet, content, serene, and no drama.

Maybe it's time to get another dog. :hmmm hmm nahhhh!
