Wish I knew what kind of trailer that is,and how the .50 is mounted on there.

Do you have any photographs of the vehicle? I am always leery of profiles.

That is a Mk I Airborne trailer available with this kit:

Click to visit a page about the trailer.

Sadly,I do not have any real photos. The color profile pic I found was from the Kagero Top Color book. It does list it as a /7 when it should read /9. I do thank you kindly for the trailer ID. :) :good: I did a Google search for captured Sd.Kfz 251/9,but could not come up with a photo of this particular one.

That might just be the standard jeep browning pole Propably welded in place rather than bolted in place.

Looks like the whole vehicle is freshly painted OD propably after they fitted some us conversions like the browning pole (Wonder if they needed to change the tow bar?)

I really hope I can find more pix of it.

Look!!! Bulgy front tires, bulgy front tires!!!

You wouldn't happen to have any more shots of that would you?

Thanks,
Tom

Edit: HA...the internet is a wonderful thing, found some more pics of this
weirdo contraption, just might build a model of it.

The one that'a acting as a caisson, who's funeral procession is that? Cant tell if that's 3 or 4 stars. 4 Stars I would guess it's Patton's.

:yipee Go for it!

doubledog dare :soldier

I'm seriously considering it.

Except I'll need about $150 worth of donor kits and aftermarket stuff.

Anyone got a DML M2 halftrack basket case they wanna unload?

Tom

Another shot of the vehicle used to transport Gen. Patton to the US Military Cemetary at Hamm, Luxembourg.
