Had a bit of rain here in Southwest Louisiana Monday

Monday, a line of thunderstorms decided to stall over our little section of paradise. At the end of the day, we had over 14 inches fall before moving out. That is the 3rd highest recorded amount for us.

What does 14 inches of rain look like? Take a look. SWLA 5-17-2021 weather blog

I'm glad I drive a four wheel drive truck. I slowly made my way home after work. Once I got to the interstate everything was fine. I've got a 14 mile commute to work. We were high and dry at home.

Ah yes, the memories! I've seen that a few times in Florida when I was there. Glad you got through it okay.

Yikes!! Had some bad rain here in the South Tx Coastal Bend but nothing like THAT!! Glad you drive a 4WD and that it didn't get to your pad.
