GOOGLE MEET FOR MODELER'S ALLIANCE? Who is in?

Great seeing everyone! It is cool to put faces with names. Y'all know so much about the military vehicles that it blows my mind! T-this and P-that and I have no clue what you are talking about. Mostly because I forget everything. I had a guy come in asking me to get a Tornado for him and I said "I will have to look up what that is", he said "You have two sitting on your shelf! One Brit and one German!"..me..."Oh, yeah, right, silly me" LOL

Really enjoyed the visit with everyone. It is great getting to put faces and voices with the names that I see on this forum everyday. I loved all the painting tips that Ian was sharing. Like his local mate I also like the building part but not the painting so much. I keep working on it though.
It was also great seeing Barney again as well as James, Bob, Richard, Chris and Greg.

Hope we can do this again soon.

Do we have a calendar function on the site software? If so might be easier to just add a date and time and the invitation link?
I'll check for that James. I know on the old software we had it, I think.

I really did enjoy the morning conversation, sorry it was to early for our west coast friends to join but we did meet for a good 3 hours.

Ian, for reasons I cain't explain, I believed you to be a more elderly gent. Rather the "Gandalf the Grey" to my "Frodo" of model making. I appreciate your staying up so late and the intro to your Sally. I was chuffed to see the faces we did.

"It is sad that China model companies are chiefed by the double talkers. There is iron in your words of modeling for all Comanche to see and so there is iron in your words of sanding, cussing and repeating. No translated instruction sheet can hold the iron. It must come from men.
The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of modeling and cussing.
It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

Something like this was floating about in my addled retirement brain during our meeting.
