Goodguys Rod & Custom Show 10-21-17

Hey Gang! Yesterday, Chris and I went over to Charlotte Motor Speedway to take in the Southeast Nationals Goodguys Rod & Custom show. What a beautiful day! Weather was perfect and the grounds were jammed with hot rods, customs and muscle cars. Here's a few photos I took, but this is only a small percentage of the cool rides that participated.

The Venue

The "grass" near the finish line isn't real this time of year.

Inside the Kids Tent, the Make & Take was underway, along with a model car contest.

It was good to see all the kids with their finished cars. :salute

The wooden speedboat was really beautiful, couldn't get a good photo angle however.

I really dug the lines of this sedan and the flames sealed the deal.

Not something you see everyday.

WOWSER I absalutely love Hotrods so many awesome ones there I have to admit I am mostly into the pre musclecar era stuff and there sure was a lot of those there. Great to see the Corvette stingray especialy wish there was a 57 chevy though.

My father had one of these and never understood why people wanted to 'soup them up' but alas, it fell victim to my '67 Pontiac Firebird.

My back hurts thinking about how to get in!
