I took a peice that would not be used and tried the hot screw driver tip and also a hot hobby knife tip.

I know its a little ruff and it is my first try. Would it pass as Zimmerit?

Do I need to apply the 1200 straight from bottle or thin it and airbrush it on, and what will this help with.

Sorry, I am total noob when it comes to armor.

Also, when I begin putting this beast together, do I just build as one piece and paint it all.

What is the proper steps for putting one together and painting one?

I have seen a lot where it looks like all was assembly and painted as whole.

Thanks again.

Thin and spray is a okay. It will fill the small voids left by the melting plastic. As to painting, well, we all must find our own path grasshopper. Me I do a combination of both, but it changes for each kit!
