German (Insert Long German word here) - Truck

Gentlemen, all your comments are very humbling, always so nice to be appreciated by peers, especially when we're talking about fantastic modelers, the lot of you :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

The tracks have received "the Humbrol Polished steel" drybrushing last night, now it's down to little tools, little boxes and accessories - portable lamps, cables, manuals, drawings, bottles, jars, posters, cigarettes and so on.

Mike is right about Leonardo - the work is never finished, always something else that needs doing or could have been done better.

Thank you all,

Laurence

Community Centre, plenty of car parks, loved it last year, very friendly organisers, a great show.

Hope to see you there.

Cheers,
Laurence

Minor Update

The last piece of machinery has finally been put in place. The reason it had wait was that I found the panel behind it to be boring without anything on it. Bought some laser water decal paper and printed bits and pieces. Including the poster that you can see on that panel there.
There's more that had been done, doesn't appear in the pic, more later.

Thanks for looking

This week's update:

- lots of things have been added - a drawing at the front near the lathe (folded it to make it look more realistic prior to putting it in place), a battery and a can to the left, one working bench got an oil filter, a jar with some yucky stuff in it (possibly grease) and a wrench, opposite side there is a suspension arm, a torch, an oil can, a big hammer, at the back of the truck there is an ammo crate with a funnel and cutting pliers on top.
More small bits and pieces that cannot be seen - will take better photos next time.

It's missing RAG'S ya gotta have rag's in a workshop.....
Just kiddin  massive effort mate, lookin foward to havin a looksie at it in the plastic.

Yep, rags (both clean and dirty) would be great additions to the shop, along with a dust pan and a bench broom. It's looking fantastic, very fun to look at! (y) B)

Damn that looks great, you prob will but are you going to dirty the floor a bit?

This one looks like a great entry in the coming Illawarra model expo!

Thank you all - very nice comments and very good suggestions :notworthy (y) :D

Rags will definitely be there, wanted to put the "essentials" first, there will be some bottles too, a pack of smokes, broom, bucket, little jars and some yet to be decided stuff to go in the pigeon holes to the right.

As for the roof, I am thinking of a folded tarp, the only problem is that I had to extend the height by using styrene strips and that looks messy if left exposed. If I figure out a way to "hide" those things, then there will be no roof.

Extra dirt will be added, the cabin is getting some attention too. Some stuff on the seats, have to figure out still. More photos this week I hope.

Laurence

I love this build.... 'can almost feel the 'fun' you're having with it, Laurence.

Ian

Thanks Willem :notworthy
