I a super phsyched about the T80 track set. :yipee Hopefully a set for the M107/M110 is not far off.

I wouldn't get any of the Sherman sets. The Sherman tracks are 'live' and do not require the sag if modeling a properly maintained vehicle. Also, it seems the HVSS sets will have the tooth and end connectors attached to a show, not a good thing when trying to simulate the track articulating around the sprocket and idler.

Regards,

Regards,

A valid point Saul. The only alternative to these tracks are from AFV Club. I have not been able to "master" those @#$%^& tracks yet. I have some E8 variants I will build in the future. The tracks that come with those E8 kits I have are not great. Tamiya/Academy M51 series.

I will get a set of the Friul tracks, just to see how they are. :v

My suggestions would be the CyberHobby DS HVSS tracks (if re-released) or Tasca's which is going to be on their web site soon (at the moment only their T-66 track is available). Both are a combination of flexible plastic (polystyrene/vinyl blend) and polystyrene details.

Sounds good Saul. Thanks for the info. :v

Shalom.

Yes, the T-80 Type track for the M-50/M-51 Super Shermans will be great. Too bad that Fruil along with many others don't realize that there is no such vehicle as an IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) Isherman.

Cheers

I can see myself making my own tool:
