Merci

This India Pattern Mark VI has the cupola of the tank commander replaced by a flap with periscope. Many Mark VI were thus modified during the war.

Thanks Saul. Do you know what the India Pattern was? I havent heard of it before. The flap periscope, is that what the Vulcan kit comes with?

Again thanks.
James

No, it is not included in the Vulcan kit. I revised the translation to be clearer. The India pattern replaced the cupola with a hatch containing a periscope for the commander.

Note also that this profile shows the vehicle had some desert modifications (such as the sand shields) added.

Regards,

Thanks Saul. I've just never heard of the India Scheme. The 7th Hussars vehicle has the cupola it looks like. Still some dessert mods would have to be done. Anyways it will have to take a back seat, need a display for the museum first.
