First Snow

Yes, it's a block from my house, They've got a Halifax on the way, here's a few pieces of it at the museum

I spent the night sleeping in the Canadian Tire loading dock in cold lake a few years ago.....

Not enough to justify plowing anyone, especially on a Sunday. The only two accounts open today are KFC and the church, both of which barely had any snow on the asphalt.

I was hoping for an early paycheck too.

The Farmers Almanac calls for active precipitation this winter but above average temperatures. Not sure how many next times there will be if it rings true.

I can't plow cold rain.

Windows open, ceiling fans on, 80 degrees and 10% humidity.

Now that I've said that, it'll snow like it did in '08. Six inches of snow sure looked funny on palm trees.

Well expect more of the same this coming winter the atmospheric conditions are ripe for a fun snowy winter especially here in Chicago

Reading fb some of my friends in the Atlantic provinces are getting smacked pretty hard. Power off and winds worse than the 2 Hurricanes of earlier this year. Our snow is almost all gone, still some left though.

All my in laws live in Chicago or nearby in Lake County, Antioch, Libertyville etc. We spent two weeks up there last fall and, within a day of leaving, it snowed like all get out. It was too deep to use a snow blower according to my brother in law. That snowblower is his prize posession!
My kids are still in St Louis and they experienced the dreaded ice storms for several days last year. Then they had tornadoes, lots of them.
I don't miss that weather at all.
