I will be doing a F-84G Thunderjet by Tamiya in 1/48 scale.

OK, technically it is and aeroplane, but it did fly like a Sherman !! - One of my favourite Tamiya kits. Love building those almost as much as I love building their P-51's.

I haven't started the model yet, but I have found the paint I will use. I have discovered Tamiya "Silver leaf". It goes on in one coat with a smooth finish and it's bright. I tried it on a spare part and here is how in turned out.

Nice choice Terry. Do yourself a favor and get some AS-12 as well if you don't have it already.

I just notice something on the last picture. I don't think I have seen the air brake deployed on the ground.
