EAGLEQUEST XXIII

Tomorrow I am heading out to Dallas Texas to attend Eaglequest XXIII. Eaglequest is hosted by Squadron and is a good time to meet up with friends old and new. Eaglequest is a direct outgrowth of the many MasterCon's started by Bob Letterman and VLS. I have been going to this event since MasterCon 6. The prize everyone is after is the trophy called the "Big Eagle" which represents the best model at the show and only the very best modeler will recieve it. I will take pictures of the event so you can see some of thefantastic models that will be on display. Here is what I will be taking. No "Big Eagles" here, but I keep planning.

Um, excuse me....Why hasn't this thread been locked? I was under the assumption that all Squadron discussion was OFF LIMITS.

Is there a separate set of rules that most of us aren't aware of?

Why are we discussing Squadron? I could have sworn that any discussion be it good/bad/otherwise was not allowed.

I don't assume that anything I say or any of my opinions has any impact when it comes to the running of this site. I'm a nobody. I am just a guy who buys and builds kits, and also likes the back and forth, especially with regards to online sellers.

I'm pretty sure that there isn't a single person here saying to themselves "Oh crap, what I type might make Firesmacker upset".

Jeff everyone on the site is important. Thats what makes it. Now as for the original post that got locked down, well it was getting to were it would become nasty and everyone would start getting upset. We stopped it so that wouldnt happen. This topic is actually about Eaglequest XXIII a contest. Nothing to do with the original thread. It just so happens that Squadron runs this contest and has a large vendor presence there. Any discussion is just a member saying they are hitting up a store because the prices will be good. No secret agenda, no special rules. If this was a recap of the original thread of course we would stop it before it got out of hand.
