Dragon Age Inquisition

Before Christmas my 1 boys talked me into trying Dragon Age Inquisition. Well I played the first 2 Dragon age and so gave this a try. It sucks.I forgot they have a weird control and the camera does not follow as I like. I cant scroll in and get a first person look. Combat kind of sucks as well and the only way to really control stuff is to kep stopping play and arranging your party to do something. I have 2 archers who go into knife fighting distance to use their bows. Come to think of it the sorcerer will also. Its got a bug so I cant do one part of the map which is annoying. But what gets me is I am up to level 15 (it takes an awful lot of points to get that high) the best armour I can buy/find/make and a powerful 2 handed sword. I have gone up against a level 15 creature who is pretty powerful. He can hit me once and kill me. I can hit him 30 or 40 times and use special moves before he is dead. My party is all below me and they will live. And joy oh joy I get 12 health potions max. So back to get more potions and all the work I just did is gone because they have respawned. I've had enough. If I wanted aggravation I'd go back to work early.

Well rant off. Game will be removed and back to mindless internet surfing.

Yup, feel your pain James. Absolutely hate/detest the controllers on X-box and Play Station. Spent too many years playing games with a nice Kensington trackball on a good computer. Have not bought a new 'puter game in over 6 years mainly due to the fact my 'puteer is old enough and I hate the draconian anti-piracy/ ssteam/ internet REQUIRED to play horse patootie.

At this point I don't waste my time or money on 'puter games anymore. :pinch:

I don't game at all anymore. Have a nice set of Thrustmaster HOTAS but rarely used them once I got them. Had an older set that I wore out doing the flight sims.

I can't imagine the graphics they have now.

James it sounds like that's one of those grinder games where you have to go back to the lower levels and keep running up your XP so you can get passed that guy. One of the reasons I stopped playing, grind grind grind.

I'm with Dave--got Destiny for Christmas and I've been sleep deprived all week
