Gloss black needs some sanding and polishing prior to metalizers.

Well, the answer is no... but I am still moving on with it.
Metalizer looks like crap and had some dry lake bed look on top of the wings. So, it was stripped.
My son reminded me that, as a desk display, people may handle it so I searched my paint locker (in the garage/workshop) and found some rattle cans. At this stage, cockpit, propeller, spinner, and pilot were painted. Tape on upper fuselage and tips of fin, wings, and stabilizer, are there to protect the yellow paint. What it looked like at (almost) midnight):
I'll move this out in a moment, once I get more photos tonight.
