Does IPA affect Future?

Is Future affected by IPA? Got a model I've put decals on, that I've sealed w/ 4 coats of future, that I now need to paint some details on. I plan on using Tamiya acrylics to paint, which I can clean up w/ IPA if I goof up, but I dont know if Future is affected by IPA the way it is by Ammonia.

Never tried to clean up with beer, washed my hair with some at the beach years ago but it wasn't an IPA, just a budweiser.

Don't think I would try it Adam, think any alcohol would attack the Future.

Haha, I take it IPA is a type of beer? I was wondering what people were referring to w/ that, haha.

Ok, I guess I'll look at using Model Masters, or see if maybe I have Vallejo's that I can clean up w/ water.

I have used heavily diluted Isopropyl alcohol over future that had set for a few days but it was lightly applied and allowed to evaporate. Any aggressive brushing/scrubbing etc. will cause major problems. I would recommend using something else as it is risky.

Ok, thanks for the feedback guys. I'll look at the Vallejo's & Model Masters that I've got. This model has been a nightmare to work on, and this painting is the very last thing I have to do, and don't want to fight it anymore.
