Dang Gene, thought I was going to see one of those big tin cans started here. You going to do one of those big 144 scale or a smaller one?
 
I think he should the big one because I would like see one made before I do it.

That 1/144 Fletcher is a beauty. Looks great in the box. 30" long stem to stern. I have one but need
a lot more room to build it in. Eduard makes a PE set for about $90.00. Joe
 
I built a 1/700 scale Fletcher class 15 years ago and that was my first time with PE- it was a Tom's generic set- I still have the leftovers! Never again.

I may post it after a few shots of Rumple (not Ripple!lol) 'cause it is a nasty little job. . .

Our local has several now- for some reason he has three sitting on his shelf in 1/350 don't know why.
