Excellent Dave . Thank you For some reason all I have was viewed from the outside.
No way I can do them this much justice but certainly would like a suggestion of something .
Hope to not take three weeks though but who knows, life is full of curves :woohoo:

After looking over all my parts I decided I didn't know how to drill a half a hole in this much plastic at a time .
Here we go, do over on the turret
Guess that's allowable.Since I know how to make good plastic circles now, this part is easy. Scribe a few circles on .040 styrene
Cut circle, re-scribe and spin it again and you have rings. ( not so easy )
stack them on a base plate and you have an inner turret ( more or less )
Now, take the original top plate and cut a half moon out of it . Make a bracket for the MG 151 and some caps for the sides....Insert the Aires AM gun in and voila !
Just need some more paint a seat and a stick and I still have 2 weeks and 5 days to build the second one

To be honest Bob I never looked. I was trying to fill the fuselage cavity the best I could.
The diameter is rather specific and it still needed end plated on both end anyway .
Particularly where the transparency will be glue on . All in all, I learned a few things in this process :yipee

I applied Future over and under the decals and in due time it worked.
My preferred method that always works with any decals!
just don't panic and play around with them if they wrinkle. leave alone and they will settle down, repeat if needed.

Thanks Phil I tried the under over Future and it worked fine on one side but not the other I have no idea what the difference is. I tried more Future but no change .
There is a plan C but I have not got there yet.

best to let the under future dry first, it will suck the decal down quite good, then a light brush coat over to seal.
sometimes the decal will wrinkle a bit, just leave it alone and they usually settle 100% for problem ones, repeat, use a dedicated brush only for future decal treatment. You can very carefully pat them down with a damp finger or q-tip if the problem persists - never anything dry.

Yesterday, I was able to drop the second turret in the Clog but it was club night so that sucked up the rest of my day.
While out and about, I came to the conclusion that it would be nice to add a couple of Rato units to the bird .
Does anyone know of a 1/72 Aftermarket available or maybe if you owned a couple of nice ones you would be willing to part with ?

I don't believe there is any AM. in 1/72 . Strange as that seems
Dragon has some really nice units on their AR 234 . Might find a bargain at a show :idonno Cheers, Christian B)

Have not gotten around to checking them out yet .
We have scoured the internet for some AM Rato packs but I don't think they exist.
Emailed Quickboost about the possibility of them producing some. No reply yet.
So far, no luck at finding any at ARC either . I'm looking at assembling the Dragon units and sending them to a friend in Cal to have them cast in resin.
Of course if some packs surfaced in the meantime, I would have other possibilities .

3. Wife has been home resting for two weeks after surgery......I had to be the butler
Anyhow, as pitiful as this post may be
After looking at all those wonderful pictures I decided I wanted to add some detail to the turrets.
The barrel are brass and will be glued in place when the build is done
