BROKENEAGLE'S PAINTINGS - update - stolen artwork by AMMO [14th Jan '25]

I have a feeling this is common MiG practice, the taking because he wants it. I mentioned this before about them stealing Alclad II logo, name, product and then packaging it as “original” because there is nothing anyone can do about it. I hope they compensate you!

@Greg Kimsey, it could be. Mig Ultra Glue is too close in qualities to our Kenny Loup's @Gator's Grip Hobby Glue for my tastes. I rather still give my money to our guy (old bottle in photo, click to order the new one):

Have you hired a copyright lawyer? That's a major artwork party foul! Now we've learned something about the integrity of Spaniards.
Or maybe we haven't. A$$holes.

I carry and use that glue and had no idea it was Kenny for crying out loud
@Gator
Yep, he's international!

This looks to have been resolved now (hopefully). :hmm:
They are sending me some products I picked out and have asked if I am interested in doing some weathering articles for the Mag. The Managing editor is also interested in my artwork but that is still developing(hopefully more than just hot air). The weathering articles would be interesting but It is a lot of work (they sent me the collaboration requirements) and I am too busy at present with my own jobs for collectors (who pay me more per hour without the photography and stopping to write the article etc). Plus I don't have any AMMO products, of which I must use for a mdelling article. They will supply everything needed but I have established tried and true methods using other, more familiar products, of which I know how they react with each other when used. I have no experience with AMMO paints etc., so I think it will prove to be a difficult re-learning for no other reason than to just earn a few dollars.
Overall they have been very apologetic and have said they will send me stuff, but in the end I think their policy is a case of ' just use it and see if we get caught, we will fix the problem then'.

Have you told your story to the press? This kind of publicity could bring profits!

Obviously.
I think I'd tell them to just send cash.

Hey, thanks for the support. They have actually asked me to amend the FB entry and post about what they have done to 'protect their name'. I actually already did that when they seemed to be cooperating and have locked out the post on my page so only I can see it. If I don't get any joy then I can easily make it public again.
I hope they suprise me and follow through on their interest in the artwork via using some for puzzles they are thinking of releasing. Because I already have artwork done that would be easier at present.
We shall see........:hmm:

Wow, that's a nut cracker. Rather rude to think they could go ahead and do it in the first place, without contacting you. That is weak and they are trying to skimp, only because they've been caught. I'd slap em hard, real hard, make it hurt, if I could, but that's just me.

I hope they honor their word, but that's a hope, because they have had no honor from the get-go. Trust is "still" a big deal for a lot of us, and when someone breaks that trust, it's almost impossible to regain. Forgiveness is one thing, but thrust is completely different. Sorry to hear this Ian.
