BMP-2 Berezhok

Doing a BMP-2 Berezhok using the Trumpeter 1/35 BMP-2 kit and Miniarms Berezhok turret conversion. It has the full turret and all that is required. Started this Friday and didnt get to model yesterday. After today I just need to sand the road wheels and idlers and then prime the hull, wheels and track. Turret still needs the missiles and grenade launcher and the smoke dischargers. Maybe get more tonight although I would like to finish painting the SA-5 so I can get it off the bench.

Looking good James, you can see you can post your images as thumbnails, if you click one you get a nice slide show.

Well I have had to put this aside for a bit. I messed up one of the missile assemblies but Igor at Miniarm answered my request for some new parts overnight. Just have to wait for the mail to arrive. In the meantime I have started a Straight flush. Decaling the SA-5 is slow at the moment.

Just the 2 missiles launchers to go. Second picture on the right side is the launcher i messed up. Sigh. Anyways i think i know how i will do it now. More to come in a while.

Very nice! Thanks for the photos and link James! This looks to be a well made tool and a decent design.

I reached a point a long time ago where I just clean the brush as soon as I am finished with it. I have several cleaning solutions depending on what I am painting, and since I have glass on my bench tops I just work it on the top and wipe the mess off.

I clean the brush as soon as I am done also. I have some windex in with the water and find it easier to just wipe the brush on the bottom of the liner and then dry off. I like though that the sediments settle under the liner so not picking up any floaties. I used to use an old coffee cup but it kept evaporating. This is always ready,
