Here we go . I am starting with the Italeri Bergepanther . Emphasis on start with there is a lot of scratch detail work to be done. A couple of sprue shots then down to business.

The basic kit is not bad it a good starting point. I wanted to build one of these and then after doing some research and talking with other people I decided that this is a good candidate for the extra work . The extra work starts with correcting the fore and aft bulkheads. Also the molded in drive shafts needed to be cut away the resulting holes filled and new drive shafts installed

Thanks for the words of encouragement . I am going to try to add a bit each day until im satisfied with it.
I did get a little bit more done this evening . Tomorrow the front office will get a bit more of the styrene treatment.

added a bit more detail to the rear bulkhead . Got a radio from the spares box and added a mounting case around it. Built the battery tray and did some preliminary wiring.
Scratchin that itch boss. That made me think of a movie quote..... " shakin the bush boss shakin the bush"

Got a little more work done to the office section . Drivers station. Added some more plumbing texture on the seats and frame work to the rear of them as well as some small details.

Made a little more progress. Just a few more touches to have the interior complete. I decided to work on the outside for a while.
Shaved away the raised detail on the lower half of the box . Added new detail. Cut some white pine for the upper portion of the box and added a bit of detail there. Nothing looks like wood except wood.

Thanks mp . I had a little time on my hands and besides I already had a plan maoed out . it just looks quick. Put the interior and winch in primer after that . more pics coming soon. Hope everyone enjoys . it can be kinda boring to watch a thread like this ..,. Soon it will get more exciting as it starts to come together

That's some high praise . thank you much. Being able to share this build with everyone here makes it all the more enjoyable. Being in the company of great builders is inspiring.
