Battle Star Viper

Sherman 18

Master at Arms
When I was digging for parts for some my current campaign builds last week, I ran across this old unfinished build from years ago. Now I'm thinking what can I do with this? :hmmm

Cool a Colonial Viper Mk I. I saw finish building it. If the decals are bad there are places that make some nice aftermarket decals. Then weather the crap out of it. Or go really crazy and do it up as a WWII Navy bird. Here's the link to a nice decal sheet http://starshipmodeler.biz/shop/index.cfm/product/1170_57/132-viper-mk1-markings-for-moebius-or-revell-colonial-viper.cfm

Tapped off part of it this evening and shot some red on it. I think this might be all I get done tonight, just worn out.

then light gray Humbrol number 127, which turned out to be to light, looked white

so I then mixed it with Humbrol number 32 and kinda got a green gray

the colors do not want to photograph well, sorry about that. I'm not satisfied with the paint yet, thinking of adding some red, pink and purple. Until next time

I remember those things having scorch marks on them from past battles. Just sayin'...:popcorn

Added some purple, red and blue to it today. Then peeled the tape and rubbed off some of the rubber cement
