Hello All,

With my Cuban P-47 im going back to the hobby!
I can see my old post as an energetic teen, that for sure have changed!
Ive been away for some 10 years, with a few models build here and there.
So what have been going on? I joined the army at 19 and did 7 years, including a tour to iraq in 2019-2020. Got back, got a new and amazing girlfriend, and with all the covid madness thought chimney sweeper was a good idea😁 Went back in the army and well last year bought a small farm from 1860’s with 4 acres!

We have spent the last year rebuilding it, ripping everything out, and trying to save as much as possible.

Im still going to be building small air force planes, with my focus on latin american ones in the 50’s and 60’s.

Wow Mikkel I see your first instruction was May 26, 2012, as someone who was in the USAF in 1982 2012 doesn't seem to far ago but it is.

Welcome back and thank you for your service!

That's a nice place you got there. What are you growing?

Im from Denmark, and the house is a traditional old house with lowseling and no isulation😂
We have forest and loads of weeds (not the smoking kind) but the idea is to be selfsuficient!

And thanks! 2012 is not that long ago! But feels like a life time ago😅

A definitely BIG WELCOME BACK! Also a big thank you for your service! That is one of the nice things about MA is that YOU SERVED! Country pretty much does not matter which is why we have such a good group even though we are all over the place.

Minion Welcome to the team .gif

Welcome back. The house looks awesome, but yeah insulation would be a must have. I would love 4 acres of trees but I wouldnt be able to walk them so would be wasted on me. Looking forward to more pics from the homestead and of course more of your aircraft pics.
