Great pics. Weird staining there, is there air conditioning or piping over top that would drip down?? These would work well for the new 1/32 B-17 I'm sure.

I really disliked the plane up where it was, but I think they are/were trying to give people the idea what they looked like while flying. It was a bear to take photos of it.

What struck me were the logistics of raising it and securing it so it could be shown in a public building like that. You know the codes/regulations (not to mention insurance) involved with suspending an antique aircraft of that size could fill a bookcase. Amazing job. CR

Why does this bird look like it's seeping oil from the rivet lines ?

It seems to be condensation caused by the heat of the lamps in areas where there is no insulation.
