Another Bf 109 Question

Leopard2

I am in the process in Building and early war Bf-109 E3. I decided on markings for Assi Hahn's first plane. I have some eagle cal decals for that plane. Unfortunately the instructions only show the left side and a very simple top view of the camo scheme. Does anyone have some pictures, drawings, etc that show the early war RLM 70 + RLM 71 from all sides? Thanks in advance.

Joe

No clue which marking you are referring to but here is the splinter scheme for that era:

These are from a web site for Il-2 skins:

Thanks Saul, thats exactly what I was looking for. The plane I am building was flown by Assi Hahn in fall of 1939 when he was on the staff of 1./ JG 3 "Udet".

Joe, I know the scheme but, as you can see, there were variables. I will be using the early scheme for the sharkmouthed Bf-109D.

Bob. the splinter schemes were usually factory applied. The light blue undersides were applied to the sides following a field directive as the Luftwaffe gained control of the skies. This is why the various Fighter Groups had different interpretations of these orders.
