So I started this build a few days ago mostly to work on my airbrushing skills. It is the old AMT P-40E that is just a reboxed ARII kit. Not a bad kit overall, my kit was a bit warped but hey it cost an entire dollar lol. And no it isn't lime green. It was bad lighting honest hehe

I replaced the terrible seat and stick with parts from the spare parts box. I also made simple Tamiya tape belts and cut some small squares from a soda can. Still not up to trying my hand and making real buckles. ;D

My attempt at fixing the landing gear bays. Not perfect but better then what was there.

Looks pretty good to me. Isn't it strange how they seem to think that airplane seats need to look like something you might find on a sidewalk ?

Thanks guys, Yeah no idea why some kits think a seat should look that way. Guess they figured it came with a pilot so you would never see it. Gotta love the spares box for fixing stuff though.

I'm calling this one done. Not to happy with my attempt at weathering with an airbrush but I'm still learning. I also noticed a few spots I need to go back and fix. Always seem to notice those after the fact :vmad
