Here's my entry:

I have always wanted to finish one of these. However there was always something that made me give up. Broken parts or short shot sprues. I'll try one again in the future.

I have been making slow progress on this one. Time has been going into my R/C activities and some work building a brick patio, but I sense this one will come together soon. Most of the interior work is done. I added the Vector resin and PE interior parts, and took some time to make resin copies of the life raft as I don't intend to do open cockpits on the rest of my A-20 kits, one is enough.

I ordered this for my Havocs. I left two, in case anyone is interested, as there is a 25% sale going on... more when you buy the last two together.

That's a nice engine. I'm in a keep it simple mood at the moment, though. The Vector cockpit is more than enough on this one. Trying to figure out how to fit the instrument panel right now. Not simple!

More progress, now that I have all the cockpit stuff figured out. Had to build up the landing gear so I could figure out how much weight to add. It seemed easiest to build it in place, as there was warpage and one are two minor breaks, these are very delicate parts. Would have been nice to have another hand but once together it all looks good. AMT said to paint the bottom of the wing in the nacelle zinc chromate green, and the insides of the nacelles neutral grey. Made no sense to me so I painted it all green. The landing gear parts are neutral grey, though.
I used very small lead shot fixed in place with canopy glue, and tested the balance by taping all the major parts together. Looks like it will work, and all the additional weight to be added will be forward of the main gear. AMT had a really unclear instruction on installing the bombs, I ended up clipping off a bit of the frame on one end and then gluing it to the back of the nose wheel bay and to the front of the gunner compartment bulkhead. The gear doors and bomb bay doors are all molded to build the model gear up and have to be split down the middle. I did that with a Tamiya scribing tool. Never mind the thin paint on the top of the bombs, I promise I did better on the bottom of them.

Got all the masking on the windows today, wings are on, engines stuck into the cowls and metal prop shafts and bearings done.
In the R/C department got an Ugly Stik all tuned up with a nice test flight and on board ignition installed on a giant scale Stearman, nearly done with the same on a Jungmeister.

More progress on the A-20. Boring OD and NG scheme, but I did use two different OD's. Maybe some staining and weathering will liven it up some. It has been a nice fitting kit once I got past the cockpit additions.
