Airfix Typhoon

moon puppy

I got a ruling today during the call from Paul. He allowed a WIP in. I picked up this Typhoon play set from Airfix with intent of using some of the vehicles displayed with the Comets but they just don't work. I mean a Tilly in 1934?

I really don't remember starting this kit, don't know why I stopped.

Building in 1:72 certainly has it's advantages.

Small scale with minimal detail rivet counting makes for fast builds. My Puma is getting paint today. All primered and little parts placed. I did cut the slots on the jerry cans tops so there are the three handles. Dug out the BIG Puma and clipped out one of it's jerry cans and assembled it for reference. Oh! My!

I have RAF Dark Green, Dark Earth, Middlestone (WTF that is) Sky and some others. I do not have the two different shades of grey that this calls for. Really?

The modelling gods have determined that you have insufficient good karma in your account after getting an in progress kit admitted to the campaign.

You will have to sacrifice a chicken and run around the perimeter of your property three times, naked, to replenish your credits.

Cheers,
RichB
