Here is my Heinkel He 219J-5 I converted from the very old 1/72 scale Revell He 219 kit and some unused Ju 88 parts.

Looks awesome (y) (y) (y) Is the conversion the tail? And are those slipper tanks aft of the engine?

Most of the mods center around the tail, the fuselage was also shortened a bit. The engine nacelles are standard He 219 nacelles. I was forced to use the single fin and rudder on this model because it was missing some parts, better to make a what-if out of it than throw it away...besides what-ifs are fun to make.

The armament you see on the rear of the fuselage is the same as was used by the Ju 88G-1/G-6 and the Japanese Gekko nightfighter.
