A New Milestone!

Duke Maddog

Well-known member
I am pleased to announce that after finally finishing all eight of my T-34's which are shown here in this post, I have achieved a new milestone. These eight T-34's have brought my count up to 600 completed small scale armor models!

And now, here they are!

These first three are all T-34/76 mod 1940 tanks. They are all the same kit from Dragon; I'm not even sure how I managed to get three of the same kit. The two with the red writing and red stars are going to go to my wargame army.

Okay, those are all the models I've finished in the last two weeks. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed working on them. I especially feel good about achieving that milestone.

Thanks all for looking in, comments are welcome!

Yeah, I've been called Maddog Manufacturing before.... I even took to taking my progress pics on a little factory display base with some little figures around the models at one time. Hmmm, maybe I should start doing that again.....

How was the Kurogane? Who makes it?

I have plans brewing...

Saul, the Kurogane was released by ACE in the Ukraine, I believe; it is a short run kit. This model was a bit rough to assemble, but with some care and judicious sanding in the right places, you can get a great fit. The suspension is a bit fiddly; it takes great care to make sure all the wheels sit properly. The rest of it assembled well and made up a pleasant little model. You'll need to get some clear plastic as ACE doesn't include any in the kit, but they do have templates drawn in the instruction sheet for cutting the right size and shape of the windows.

Thanks raiderfan! I usually finish about 50-60 a year; I'm well on track so far for this year.

Kryptos, I won't stop; I have too many to finish! I think you are doing well; you've got a respectable rate of production going there my friend!

Thanks razorboy!

Thank you Model Maniac! I may even earn that name someday soon.

For those who would like to see what that collection looks like in pics, well, I have two that were taken over a year ago when I was at 545 completed models. Since these pics were taken, I've completed 58 more models beyond what's pictured:

Yep, there they are on four tables! Yeah, that's what it looks like!
