A Manufacturer wants a Woodie, OK Many!

Sharkmouth

Information Overload
Staff member
They are looking for Ford Woodie details for models from 1936-46 (mostly differences and dimensions). Of course, detail images and color suggestions from the manufacturer also welcomed!

Regards,

What they going to do with that woodie. I mean if it last over 4 hours they gonna need some medical help!

Seriously, Saul can they not contact Ford directly for this type of info or would Ford want licensing fees and stuff?

would Ford want licensing fees and stuff?

Yes, they would.

Regards,

Guess that would be costly, but they could use the "Official Ford" logo or something, though they probably charge extra. :bang head

I heard that Ford does not charge for scale models. (y)

I would think someone would want to do a 1941/42 version as the British used it as a staff car :idonno

And would you know it one was a car hauler here about two years ago........

Yes, they have plans to release several staff cars and modifications of it. As some may know, I am on a softskin kick right now.

Regards,

Just curious, is this for a 1/35 scale model? Or normal model car scale?

Tom

Shalom.

Styrene model companies don't like to give out too much info on projects until the feedback stage in orser to prevent rival companies from rushing out a smilar kit. It hink that this is why Saul isn't saying what the scale is or who the manufacturer is.

Cheers from Peter
